Almost 70% of tractor elements are produced in the plant shops
Kharkov Tractor Plant was founded in 1930. The first tractor left
the assembly line on October 1, 1931, to work on a huge, rapidly growing enterprise, more and
more specialists of different fields were required, which led to the formation of a separate
residential area in Kharkov, which became a full namesake of the plant and was named XTZ. Over
the years, the plant has produced more than 3 million tractors and other specialized heavy
equipment, which has always been reliable, functional and the highest quality of production. The
products produced by XTZ industrial enterprise have been in great demand for decades not only in
the territory of the former Soviet Union, but also in many countries of Europe, Asia and even
Africa.
In 1999, Ukraine XTZ cooperated with the German Mercedes company to produce KIROVETS series
products, A branch was established in Russia the following year. Kharkov Tractor Plant produces
a large number of models of modern tractors and special equipment with high reliability, while
maintaining an undeniable advantage - low cost of ownership.
All of XTZ’s modern products are certified and meet the quality standards set. To ensure product
quality，Almost 70% of tractor elements are produced in the plant shops: axles, gearboxes,
frames, cabins, cast components, electric parts.
